Cancer Support,
Prevention & Care

Supporting you through treatment and beyond
This programme is not designed to fight cancer — your oncologist is doing that. It is designed to support the body, mind and spirit through what that fight asks of it.
Integrative oncology means bringing Ayurvedic and complementary support into the same room as conventional treatment — not putting them in competition. Nothing is introduced without your oncologist's knowledge, and nothing in this protocol is designed to conflict with your primary treatment plan.

Your oncologist remains in charge
Integrative oncology means bringing Ayurvedic and complementary support into the same room as conventional treatment — not putting them in competition. Nothing is introduced without your oncologist's knowledge, and nothing in this protocol is designed to conflict with your primary treatment plan. We liaise with your treating oncologist on an ongoing basis. No herbal formulation is introduced without checking for known interactions with your active treatment. The programme is adjusted in real time if your medical situation changes. Strong international connectivity is standard throughout the property for calls home.

Support for the person, and the family
Plan your stay
Gentle support
Gentle therapies for discomfort and nerve sensitivity, emotional support for patients and accompanying family, a restorative daily rhythm, and accommodation for one family member or caregiver.
Dietary therapy
A warm, nutrient-dense, easy-to-digest sattvic diet that supports absorption and energy without taxing a digestive system already under strain from treatment.
Family accommodation
Accommodation for one accompanying family member is arranged as part of the stay. We keep your oncologist informed of the programme, any changes, and any concerns we observe.
Emotional support
Structured sessions address the anxiety, grief, fear and emotional depletion that accompany a diagnosis — for patients and the family members who carry it.
A carefully sequenced
integrative protocol
Every step is reviewed against your current oncology treatment. We do not begin any session or herb protocol without completing this review first — full documentation, herb-drug interaction screening, and liaison with your treating oncologist.
How it works
Your programme
Personalised
Physicians at Tigris Valley review your oncology reports before the programme begins. We ask for a current oncologist's report and treatment summary, a list of active medications and chemotherapy agents if applicable, recent bloodwork including complete blood count and liver and kidney function, and any imaging from the past three months.
Discuss your care planYour support protocol
- Oncology review: Documentation, herb–drug interaction screening and liaison with your oncologist.
- Gentle, modified support: Gentle, modified support selected for your current treatment and bloodwork.
- Mind, family, discharge: Emotional support, family accommodation and communication at discharge.

Cancer support questions,
before you arrive.
Is Ayurvedic support safe during active chemotherapy?
It can be, under the right conditions — full oncology documentation reviewed by our physician, careful herb-drug interaction screening, and liaison with your treating oncologist throughout.
What documentation do I need?
At minimum: your oncologist's most recent report or clearance letter, your current medication list, and recent bloodwork (CBC, metabolic panel). Send these in advance so our physician can review before you travel.
Can my family member stay with me?
Yes. Accommodation for one accompanying family member or caregiver is arranged as part of your programme. For most cancer patients, having family present is not a comfort — it is a necessity.
Can you liaise with my oncologist back home?
Yes. This is standard practice for all international guests. We ask for your oncologist's contact details at intake and keep them informed.
Does this programme replace oncology treatment?
This programme is not designed to fight cancer — your oncologist is doing that. It is designed to support the body, mind and spirit through what that fight asks of it.
What if comfort and quality of life are the priority?
For guests in later stages, or those whose focus has shifted from cure to comfort, palliative Ayurvedic care at Tigris Valley centres one thing: that you feel like a person, not a patient. Gentle therapies for discomfort and nerve sensitivity, emotional support for patients and accompanying family, a restorative daily rhythm, and accommodation for one family member or caregiver.
